A lot of chemistry

It's a really interesting module, but I hadn't realised how much chemistry there would be (literally half of the module), and there is the expectation that you should know all this chemistry.

Also the exam format was changed midway through the semester, which made preparing for exams harder.

What sort of chemistry does this module contain. Could you give some examples please

It involves understanding drug mechanisms and what they target in the cell. Chemical structures which are common in drugs and how these help with interactions and their solubility.
e.g. Michael additions
e.g. alkylation events in DNA and nucleophilic attack of the DNA on different dugs
