Abiotic Stress Empty Abiotic Stress

Interesting module if you are keen on plant sciences. Covers a lot of the same content from the Sensory & Signalling Networks module in Semester 1 which means that you don't need to learn too much new content. It involves 2 essays on 2 different abiotic stresses of your choice and a seminar on an abiotic stress of your choice. This is a really nice module in terms of workload as long as you attend the seminars and contribute to the discussion you shouldn't get into too much difficulty. I've found it easy to fit around my other modules and it allows for in depth study of areas that you are particularly interested in. The seminar presentations are quite long so it may not be for you if you aren't overly comfortable with public speaking, however, the class size isn't typically too big which helps and the main lecturer James Doughty is very supportive.
