Sexual Conflict

Really interesting module, covers some of the content from the Year 2 Behaviour & Ecology module but goes into more detail and is very interesting. Because of the way the course is divided up that actual content to learn is not too great and only consists of 8-9 lecrtures worth as the rest of the sessions are made up from group seminars. The seminars consist of a 25 min group presentation on a recent paper which allows you apply the information learnt in the lectures. The choice of paper is done via a sign up sheet so it allows you to choose your topic, group and date which mean you can pick a subject that interests you on a date that fits well around your other studies. Chris Hatcher is a really good lecturer and is very helpful if you have any queries. I would say that because of the number of elements (seminar, essay, MCQ & dragon's den) of this module you do need to be very motivated to keep on top of your work.
