BB20024 Review

This module covers many important concepts which you will find overlap with other modules you take during the semester (e.g. Infection and Immunity: Microbiology). It builds well from Cell Biology taken in first year and there is lots of exam practice available. The exam is 100% of the module with an MCQ section (tends to be quite specific knowledge from the lectures) and an essay part (with many to choose from as there are multiple lecturers for this unit). The lecturers are also engaging and pace lectures well for the most part.

There is a lot of content however that goes for all second year modules. The lecturers provide everything you need for the exam without extra reading but to get the highest marks, consulting extra resources they post and extra reading can help to attain this. Another focus for the exam essay section should be your structure as that will bring your mark up to the highest level.
